Specialized Flag Crankset - triple

Nice 170, English thread length triple crank. Rings are 50/45/28 (half-step?)…outer rings in excellent condition, inner has a few chain marks but fine. Could use a polish but nice example. $60 shipped obo.

I've got one of these for sale, too. Slightly nicer condition, 52T Sugino outer ring (replacement). $75 shipped

Do you know what modern size bb spindle this takes?

My build notes say that the Flag triple (46-36-24 rings) on the Miyata is on a 110mm UN-55, with a 3mm DS spacer, giving a 148mm Q-factor.

It’s a very nice crankset, assuming that the likely cracks at the arm-spider intersection have been dealt with by careful filing.

This is a really nice crankset and the inner gearing would be great for PNW and Eroica rides.

I'm not sure exactly when this dates from, but this might be helpful – old specialized catalog data on their stock BBs
specialized catalog data on crank / bb

Nice crankset, check the BCD

I had the 110BCD version of that, a compact triple.
It was a great crankset. I used a symmetrical square taper BB.
Before I sold it, I ran a 50/36/26 on it with a 12-30 rear, FD-770 (triple 10) and Deore XT RD.
Loaded or not, it was pretty easy to move the bike.
