Do you know if this frame fits a 700c x 32mm tire in the rear? Alternatively, what's the internal measurement across the chainstays where there is tire rub right behind the bottom bracket?

I have a small list of interested persons / pm's, and I am answering in the order inquiries were received.
Thanks for your patience.

TimmyT, can't answer about 32mm tires, I don't run tires that big. The internal spacing at the top of the chainstays seems to be about 35mm.
I figured that would be tight for 32s at the bottom bracket but wasn't sure. There is often some variability in these older frames.
It's a good deal for the right person.

I have a Gitane TDF similar to this one and have used 32 Paselas on it. Great riding frames. One of the best values out there.
