FS Bill Davidson Road f/f/hs 60cm SOLD
Used, Bill Davidson 60cm Frameset/steel fork, Joe Bell Paint- pretty Sparkly Blue, Chris King Black 1" NoThread Headset, Internal rear brake routing. 60cm seat tube C-C, 59.5cm top tube C-C, 22cm headtube from bottom to top of headset cups. 1" steel threadless steerer tube w/ 1 1/8" spacer adapter. English threaded botttom bracket. Braze on front derailleur. Was previously run with Campy 11spd grouppo, so rear spacing is appropriate to the times. Will run 28's tires. Some touched up chips from previous owner. Touchups don't quite match color, (see pics), although should be easy enough to find correct blue color. Frame savered by me upon my acquisition. $550 now $450 money is net to me shipping on you so check, cashiers check, money order etc. We can work that out.
I have an appreciation for well made American steel bikes. Bill Davidson is a renowned American frame builder from Seattle, WA.

The underside of the BB shell was touched up with Testers paint, the integrity of the metal is intact, just the finish was damaged somehow. Most of the paint looks great, just a few areas that are not into the metal.

I am more concerned about what is under the paint. Clearly no prep was done.

There is nothing of concern under the paint. If you are a serious buyer then we can have a conversation about stripping off what's there so that you can see. I am offering up for sale a great frame with some finish issues that have not been hidden or misrepresented. Joe Bell is one of a few top painters in USA. The finish on the remainder of the bike is intact save for some marks, and I don't know what happened to the finish under the bb. I did use some paint to cover over a darker color applied prior to my ownership, and it's a bit rough looking cosmetically.
