I will follow protocols
as earlier stated. These are either $75 each or the price photographed in the pics.
no, scratch that. These frames have been here so long…
$75 each.
I took the time to measure the LeJeune and better photos.
again, sorry for any and all confusion. Just trying to clear space for what people actually can use as a commuter bike.
for now on, I will start new threads with where these are, how much and better details.
as always, my goals are twofold, keep cool steel out of landfills, and pass on good deals to the helpful folk on this site which has given me valuable tips on how to keep my own steed on the road.

Robvolz - Thank you for the pictures of the LeJeune.
Given the whole hullabaloo over what this thread and your role is in it, am I to understand that anyone who actually wants one of these will have to get it at the co-op? Or are you facilitating them? Let me know. Would like to talk about the LeJeune.

While that would be most convenient, I also understand that if you do not live in the Pacific Northwest, it could be a difficult proposition.
if you are truly interested, send me a nice message, including your phone number and I will have David, a guy who has the patience than I, help you with postage much better than I to take your money and ship it to you.

Just so I’m clear, is the shop in Portland? I have friends who live near Portland who might be willing to pick something up for me.

I think this is a cool thread in here. There are some decent frames in there.
The co-op probably could use the space.

As did I. I will not be heartbroken if someone else gets it, but I was a bit disappointed by the lack of reply, while I could see posts here in the interim. Kurt, good luck with the Lejeune, if that is what you area after as well. I'd take it to avoid seeing it scrapped, but I am not going to be upset if I miss out, since I have a couple other nice French bikes.

I went north up to Tacoma/Bainbridge for the weekend.
Will look at messages in the morning.
For 2 years Classic Cycles has had a Holdsworth for sale. 2 years!!
I finally make it up there and it sold earlier in the week.

Yesterday the other Van came up, got to meet Greta and bought the Dawes.
today I will message and call those who showed interest. Good news, got some great boxes from the Toyota dealership for shipping purposes.

You know, I freely admit that I've taken my potshots at Rob recently in some other threads. But I nevertheless feel compelled to share a bit of feedback about this thread for the benefit of others:
First, it wasn't clear that these frames were, apparently, a local pickup. Given some prior threads, it was natural to assume Rob was facilitating these. However, Rob was kind enough to get the co-op involved to provide shipping for the rest of us a few posts in - though I get the feeling that it would have made more sense for the co-op to have been the one posting in the first place - especially as we would have known where local pick up is in the first place. (Plus, if I'm not mistaken, there's a rule here that we really shouldn't be selling for others, as it compromises the benefit the forum owners receive from new members who pay for the elevated membership to post. That's besides the point though, I believe the mods often make exceptions for "good deed" threads like these).
Nevertheless, I inquired about the LeJeune frameset and sent a PM. Rob did not reply to the PM, so I inquired directly in the thread, as per the public conversation above. You'll also see that I was told the co-op would reach out. They didn't; neither did Rob. Then, after a few days, Rob said he'd "call" on those who expressed interest. I didn't leave a phone number and didn't realize that was required. Or not, really - I'm still not clear if this was how he meant to say he was replying to PMs.
Now - only after bumping this post up after a week and a half later to ask what's the story - I learn the frameset that I was never contacted about has been sold, and the news doesn't even come from Rob. It's from someone else who has never posted even once before in this thread, whom I have no idea what their relation is to this sales discussion.
At no time was it clear or obvious to me that I was (apparently) not the first to inquire. Sure, someone might have beat me to the PM punch, but I consider it a minimum of good business conduct to let those who aren't at the head of the line to know that they're second, third, or fourth. Now, maybe Rob passed me over due to our not seeing things eye-to-eye, but this thread happened at least a week before that. What's more, it appears I'm not the only one who really hasn't been following what's going on here.
I understand the well-meaning effort to support a local co-op and help send some orphaned frames to good homes, and I realize Rob is also dealing with the health issues of his dear Greta. But facilitating sales is still business - if one can't commit to the minimum level of communication necessary to maintain good business practices, one shouldn't facilitate in the first place.
This sales forum has an excellent reputation due to our upstanding community - it's almost not necessary to look at the C&V Feedback thread. Let's keep it that way.

I did reach out a bit later and got news about the dog, so I assumed this got put on hold. I certainly didn't want to pester him about it.
I'm hopeful that the buyer is a member here and will post photos as they build it.

I still wasn't aware that was part of the workflow until Rob alluded to it later in the thread.

Thread closed. C&V sales is for member to sell personal items and not for a store even if it’s a co-op.
