1972 size 58 Colnago reveal tomorrow

Greta has breast cancer. She gets her operation on Wednesday.

I’ll have finished this build by tomorrow noon and will download all the pics.

all campy of course, except the stem/bars which are both Cinelli.

wheels, Mavic tubulare
tires, Vittoria
tape, neubam

asking $1200. I use bike flight boxes or can deliver as north as Marysville Wa or as south as the Bay Area for a lil gas $$

since not all the components are installed, if you are truly interested, and already have a set of campy brakes you’re not using, for example, message me and I could leave those off.

include a number in your message.

thanks, Robert

Get well Greta. Cancer sucks!

I may get in trouble for this, but there was a "**** Cancer" RAGBRAI team a few years ago. It was my favorite jersey that I spotted on the ride.

As I am a person who is also fighting cancer, please tell Greta that I am rooting for her.

To everybody for the well wishes. Had no idea it was possible to love such a silly animal this much

back to bicycles, which part is for what? It seems to me the one I pulled out is longer.

Or is the one that says 120 meant for a triple?

One is one meant for a Pista?

I hope not

Is your frame measurement from crank center to the top of the seat lug; or center of the crank to the center of the top tube? I'd also like to know the top tube length. Thanks!

The bottom one is a thick-cup spindle for Nuovo/Super Record, the top is thin-cup - Nuovo Gran Sport, Triomphe, etc.

Given that you have it together now, I take it you discovered it's the thick cup spindle

So embarrassing, now that the front wheel is on, my bars aren't parallel, hell, the ends point upward.

Brakes cleaned up nicely. Thanks to whoever taught me the vinegar trick. Old school campy with non curved levers, pre-safety mandates.

I think Rob needs to have those bars tilted upwards a bit...better grip...

What do y’all think?

Vintage hi-fi, and vintage steel! Looks like my place. Sending the positive vibes your way, my wife just got her clean 6-year check up today. I wish the same for you two.

Beautiful bike and pooch. Hoping surgery is successful and she has a full recovery.
