SOLD: 1975 Schwinn Paramount C7561 silver

I have a few bikes I'm looking to move on from the collection so that I can focus on some custom 70s/80s American-made steel on my wish list.

This Paramount is nearly flawless. It's just a beautiful example of the mid-70s top-of-the-line Schwinn. Serial number C7561

I get the following measurements center-to-center: 22.5/57cm seat tube, 22/56cm top tube

$OLD

VERY SHARP !!!!!

Is it original paint ????

If so, it's the best condition Paramount I have ever seen for that time period !!!!

Glad you're not closer

Go Bengals !!!!!

Yes, I believe it is original paint. There is some paint chipped at the seat binder and the grease, dirt, wear that you would expect. Everything is consistent with it being an all-original wall hanger.

WHO-DEY!

Bikes: See my albums. I find that listing them here messes up searching.

The spokes are almost tangential at the flanges... so I looked more closely...they are laced 4x, which I don't think I've seen in the wild.
Beautiful bike, GLWS!

Beautiful bike, GLWS!
Yup- Schwinn stuck with it on high end Chicago bikes. My 68 Super Sport and 77 Superior are high flange 4x. The 71 Suburban and 72 Continental are high flange 3x.

Yesterday's rebuild of a used wheelset was a first for me too.
