Motobecane Grand Jubilee - Proceeds to Benefit Ukrainian Framebuilders
SOLD - to me! Several months ago @smontanaro offered this frameset for sale with the proceeds going to Doug Fattic's framebuilding colleagues in the Ukraine who had to flee the Russian invasion. It's taken me longer than I hoped but I have finally built it into a complete bike with parts from my collection and am offering it for sale with the sale price again benefiting the Ukrainian framebuilders. Thanks to @curbtender for the donation of the wheels.
$400 plus shipping. If shipping within the continental U.S. is over $100 I will cover the additional cost.
Seat tube - 61cm c to c
Top Tube - 59cm c to c
I have done some straightening on the damaged chainstay bridge shown in smontanaro's original listing, also added some lug lining. There is a lot of touch up paint on this bike, none of it an exact match. See the photos.
Components:
Huret Jubilee rear derailleur, shifters, and derailleur cable clip.
Huret 600 front derailleur
MAFAC Racer brake calipers and levers
Stronglight 93 crankset
Maillard hubs, Weinmann clincher rims
Regina Oro freewheel
Simplex seatpost.
Brooks Cambium saddle
Philippe stem and handlebars
Lyotard 460d pedals
A few notes:
1. The brake pads are non-original and need replacing. Anyone have a set of MAFAC pads and holders they would like to donate to the cause?
2. I have a few other saddles and pedals I could exchange if you prefer.
3. More information about the Ukraine Bicycle Project HERE.

Great bike and a great cause, Brent.
Can you confirm if the the wheels are 700 or 27"? Hooked beads? Width of the tires that are currently mounted?
Cheers!

This is the largest tire that will fit without deflating the rear tire to clear the chainstay bridge when installing into the horizontal dropouts.
Rims are hooked. Front is a Weinmann. Rear is missing it's label but the profile is a little different from the front. It looks like a Mavic to me but I'm no expert on rim profiles.

I can offer a pair of Lyotard Berthet pedals if you prefer them to the ones currently on the bike. I also have 3 more saddles you can choose from; a well-used Brooks Pro, a blue Selle Italia ProLink, or a Concor San Marco Super Corsa with a deep rash on the right corner. Let me know if you think my price is too high. I'd really like to sell this and get the funds into the hands of folks who could use them to help make it through the Ukrainian winter.

I got tired of waiting for someone to buy this. I really want to get the money to Doug so he can help the Ukrainians through the winter, so I sold it to myself and sent the funds to Doug.
Don't worry about my sanity though: I drove a hard bargain with myself and only paid $350 for it!
I'll be listing some of the components for sale in the next few days.

Those cranks are beautiful. It's a shame no one bought it intact (other than you I mean). You really put together a lovely bike as it stands.
Have you used the Pro-link saddle...? Great color...hmmm....
And where did you find that color bar tape?

The Pro Link is actually my favorite plastic shell saddle, right up there with my B-17 and My Berthoud Aspin. I have slightly wider sit bones, so the fairly flat profile works well for me.
The tape is from Deda I think, but I bought it so long ago that I'm not sure.
