Wanted - Front Derr. with 28mm clamp.

Found. Thanks to everyone who offered! For a Gitane Tour de France I'm restoring I need a front derailleur with a 28mm clamp, something a step up from the current delrin Simplex that is on there. Purchase or trade.
Thanks,
Brent

Is it usually marked on the clamp?

Not that I know, but if it's too small for you non-French, Swiss, and Zeus bikes it's probably the one I need.

the simplex SJ A102 I think, is 28.0. Check photo. It is missing the roller pin but I suspect they are reasonable bodgeable.

The Huret was in between. It didn’t snug up to the tube but it might by tightening down.

That Simplex will work just fine! I can steal the roller from the defunct delrin disaster that came with the bike.
PM on its way.

I know nothing about French bikes. I’m so sorry I do not know what year was foil versus paper. But there are cases and cases of huret front derailer‘s at my local co-op.
