FS: NOS Suntour Superbe Brake Caliper & Lever Set w/ Original Box
Up for grabs is a NOS Suntour Superbe brake caliper and lever set that I just haven't found a project for. But I know one of you can.
The caliper set is in perfect condition. Of course it is. It is new old stock. However, the set sadly only comes with one brake lever. And that lever does not have a hood. The back of the arm markings for the calipers states, "4000" which is code for short reach. More information about the caliper set in general can be found here on VeloBase.
The rest of the package comes with the original cables, housing, cable clamps, an awesome Suntour sticker and original box.
This equipment is likely from 1983 which means, these beauties have been waiting patiently, and staying perfectly pristine, for the right build for 40 years. Is your bike the one?

I like my Superbe brakes, my 1st non-European brakes ever; my set looks identical except missing the "Superbe" on the brake arms (maybe I have a non-Pro version?)
Anyway, I just had to comment on the box where directly above the text "caliper brake set" there's a picture of a guy riding a track bike.
