Clean Pletscher rear rack

Clamps to the stays. Super nice condition. I would not go futari nori on it but for regular use they are pretty bullet proof.

$20 plus shipping. If you want to know what that would be you can game the numbers at the post office/ups websites. My zip is 99506. The package will be 20x6x3, at/under 2 pounds.

I think you can report your own thread.

Admins won't normally see notes like this as we don't have the time or manpower to read every post. Please report your thread and ask the mod staff to move it.

Thread moved from C&V to C&V Sales.

Back in the day these were common on a number of bikes. I don't think track bikes ever sported a rack.

I have one without the little stay piece. It’s nice to see what it looks like. Maybe I can fabricate one.

@SurferRosa tells me my attempts at humor are too subtle.

I fixed the title, but if it was intentional I can switch it back.

I lived fairly close to the bikecentennial route in the '70s, and everybody had a Pletcher rack. I don't think I saw a Blackburn (on a bikecentennial bike), which was also available at the time and far superior. OTOH, since they had to ride up a mountain off-course to get to our town, we only saw people that desperately needed a bike shop. So maybe it was a self-selecting group.

Nope, that was certainly a typo and I didn't even notice it until now 😔

This brings back memories of college (actually trade school, but I still rode a bike to class).
