I just worked with one of these. You are required to use the factory mount. The rails are too far wide otherwise

There are adapters available to use single or double bolt alloy seat posts. Don’t know how well they work. Cheers, Van |
Thanks for the guidance and advice.
This is one of the few Brooks saddle models that I've never ridden. I'll probably just run it with the original included mount/clamp and a traditional straight post. I'm not concerned about weight. It will be ridden casually, aka, "Riv" style. I don't see myself mounting those massive springs on my Paramount. :innocent: I also want to see what I can do to restore the appearance of the leather and to strengthen the places which are cracking. |
