Talk to Dan at Grand Performance. I think he has one. Maybe you can pry it away from him.

Those are beautiful bikes. I'd buy one if I found one in my size and I have two great vintage MTBs (both stumpjumpers).

You end up getting a -1 or a Zip?
I've a 1990 MB-1 myself, and it works well. It was built on machine in Japan, with silver brazing and lugs - and despite the Logic Prestige tubing it is still holding up pretty well. Braze-spec tubing had a slightly longer butted section, which made all the difference in terms of longevity. With the right parts it was possible to get the weight down below 24 lbs.
The Zips were all built in Taiwan by this guy named Man Chung Chiang (seriously, that was Grant Petersen's ad campaign for the thing). The tubing used for the Zip is Ritchey Logic Prestige TIG-specific, designed to Tom Ritchey's specifications for bikes like the P-23. They got a little too cute with the weight reduction, and there are a few Zips out there with compromised chainstays (from where the chains punched through). Ritchey's bikes (particularly the mini-brazed ones) had the same issue.

Well protected with dust, spider webs/eggs, sawdust and a tarp.
Just two miles from our house in St. Paul.
Wasn't cheap, as they knew what they had.

Grady, that didn't take long to source the bike you wanted. I wish I could find some bikes on my bucket list as quickly.

Usually word of mouth.
I mentioned the need to a friend that used to race Bridgestones for the Alternative Bike Shop in Minneapolis.
He made several calls and that was that.
It's a very nice bike.
Wish he could find an XO-1 that quickly.......

That is interesting. I have a Bridgestone RB-T sitting in my basement that I plan on selling this spring if it ever arrives. It has 'The Alt' decal on the head tube where the Bridgestone decal usually is. I think the guy I bought it from said he worked there or maybe just hung out there.
I find them like I sell them.
Usually word of mouth.
