FS: 21" 1987 Schwinn Tempo, F/F/HS/seatpost
The time has come to put this out there. This bike has seen lots of different kinds of riding and a few different builds. From single speed townie to 1x2 speed roadie, to 1x7 sports tourer, and now 11-speed rando-ish road bike. The frame itself is very versatile, comfortable, and just a little bit too big for me.
It fits 25mm tires plus fenders, or 28s without, and I've even fit 30mm Eroicas on TB-14s but with very tight clearances. The frame is in very good condition with only some light marks to the very durable PC. Most notable wear mark is loss of paint on the inside of a chain stay when the rear wheel slipped once.
EDIT: Now offering Frame/Fork/HS/Seatpost for $200 OBO. SOLD

Now offering this as a frameset only. Chris King HS and 26.6 Sakae post are included.
21" size, so 52cm ST and 54cm TT (c-c). Here's a catalog scan with more info.
Asking $200. Located in San Diego.
This frame has been lovingly ridden for a couple years in a few different configurations from SS townie to full-on 11-speed road bike -- the 130mm hub went in with very minimal effort, though the frame has not been cold-set and the rear end is just over 126mm wide. I had it powder coated pink (RAL 3015) a couple years ago and put the head badge back on upside down for kicks. Just 2 screws, so easy to flip. I also milled the fork crown from 27.0 to 26.4 and cut the steerer to be able to install the Chris King Grip Nut. I think that's it as far as changes to the frame.
The frame is built with Columbus Tenax tubes and is really an all-day comfortable ride. I've come to terms with the fact that it's too big. Wish I could shrink the top tube, but time to move on to better fitting bikes.
