Help with this frame

New to Colnago's and hoping I can get some help. I believe this is an early/mid 90's master frame, but I'm not sure how to confirm that. And I've read about the master Olympic/Piu/Light connections, but this one is just labeled "Master". So, where does this fall on the hierarchy? And is there any significance to the paint scheme?

Apologies in advance for the noob questions.

Darn near the top dog and, for what it is worth, I have wanted one for years. There is even one for sale on Ebay, right now. Just might take the time to make Mrs. Me angry...

Looks like an early 90's Master Piu to me (taking paint scheme, lugs, internal cabling etc. into account).
As I recall from some research years ago, the 'Piu' was apparently dropped for marketing purposes in North America (possibly other markets outside of Europe too).
The 'original' Master has the world champ 'stripes' along with the text on the top tube, and also on the chainstay.

Looks to be in great condition, enjoy it!!
