An American constructeur. Contrary to what I've heard people say about Bruce, and this is iterated by himself in the interview, I've found him to be ready and willing to share what knowledge he has, which is vast. At times jovial, at other times blunt, I've quite enjoyed the conversations I've had with him via telephone over the years. Top choice if you're considering picking up a "production" touring bike. A friend and I visited his shop in Petaluma this past fall. The museum he has upstairs of the bikes he's built for himself is incredible. Custom pumps, racks, brakes, stems. Check it out if you're in the area. Big ups to one of the OG American framebuilders.
