I think it is. It's serial number is 4h8067 or f4h8067 It has Dia-Comp G brakes amd 022 on the fork. The brass front badge is screw on. It's in fairly good condition. I would like to sell it. How much should I ask?

1978 trek 510 - 022 sez ishiwata 022 tubing throughout. Trek only came in three grades, 022, reynolds 531, and (rarely) columbus sl. 76 was the first year that they were made. because of the size (24" by the serial number) it'll be worth a little less..it looks from a distance to be mostly original. The paint is imron btw. The bike is probably worth about $125 at the most. Interestingly, the screw-on head badge is rare and probably worth $40 or $50 on ebay by itself...If you ride it, lower that stem before it breaks and wins you a trip to the hospital!

I'd check the seat post too. It may be set above the line as well.

They often go MUCH higher on Ebay, depending on how well-run the auctions are...
