colnago model

7 Attachment(s)
hi guys
i found a colnago bike having the master seat stay, luggs, tt clips
same bottom bracket box
the typical engraved colnago missing on the luggs/seat stay, only the bb box
my theory is that it's been built custom ordered from colnago, without engravings
paint doesnt seam original as well, but was nicely made
any opinions ?
thanks

It may be a variation of the Colnago Sport that was marketed in Europe.
I've never seen any with that particular seat stay cap treatment.

It doesn't have the features of colnago sport, luggs, seatstay, fork, they look exactly like master

no colnago experts around?

Well, it has been resprayed, so graphics are suspect. Has a Colnago bottom bracket, but not a lot of detail shots of the various fittings to look beyond the paint. I would also drop the fork and look for chrome on the steerer.
As Lotek stated, perhaps a Sport. Many members here from the USA will be unfamiliar with those as they were not a USA export model.

have you seen how a colnago sport looks?
sorry but has nothing to do, read what i wrote above and see the fork, seat stays, cable routing, luggs, etc..

Without detail images there is not much to go on.
Colnago made a lot of steel bikes.
Good luck in finding the answer.

So is it a Super or a Master? You can't seem to make up your mind and are ignoring anything anyone else has to say. The pictures do not capture the areas needed to identify this bike. The seat stay tops are not like a Master which used a socketed seat cluster, nor are they anything like a Super. They most resemble the seat stay caps of a Sport. The fork also resembles a Sport. There are very few "custom" Colnagos and this is highly unlikely to be one. It has clearly been repainted and you can see the Paint Works decal.

Obviously, when the views are not an endorsement of the position, they are incorrect.

Not the kind you are looking for, as it seems.

Take a photo of the head tube lugs. From what we've been presented with, this is not a Colnago.
