Mint condition Hercules 1969?

9 Attachment(s)
Hi there:

I found this bike in my grandmother's garage. It is not clear when she got it, but probably the 60s. I suspect it is Super Deluxe AMF Hercules. What would be the right price to sell it, and should I try selling it on CL or Ebay? I am based in the Bay Area (Berkeley). Thank you so much for your help!

-Was in a garage for 45+ years
-Really beautiful, really clean, works, from the 60s
-Bike is made in England
-3 speed with sturmey archer internal shifting.
-Even the tires are original (Made in England).
-Original pedals white and seat white and hand grips white
-Dynamo Light for front and rear!!
-Medium frame

I would say $150-200 in the Bay Area if it were ready to ride...new cables, tires, bearings done etc. As is...you may be able to snag $100 or more if someone falls in love with it. Craigslist for sure.

Probably about right. It could easily cost $50 to get it ready to sell, which you might not fully get back.

Before you sell it, try to find someone in the family that wants to ride it. Grandkids, great-grandkids? Some needy college student in the family?

I dug out Mom's bike for my niece to ride this spring, and I'll probably blow up the tires for future visits too.
