Moser Leader AX vs Merckx Corsa Extra
Hey
Moser Leader AX vs Merckx Corsa Extra (MX Leader if i'm lucky)
Which one would You choose?
Im leaning toward Moser a bit but i found Merckx Corsa Extra for sale in good condition for a good price and its hard not to pull the trigger.
There is much less Mosers AX around so it might take some time before i can find one in good condition and my size.
What are your thoughts?
Thanks everyone.

I believe the Merckxx Corsa Exrtra a SL road frame yes? But what is a Moser Leader AX?
The MX Leader is a nice bike and I love the ride of MAX frames.

I have seen some Moser AX advertised with Oria tubing, not sure how that compares to Dedacciai tubes. I have a Moser in Columbus SL and I love it. That being said a Merckx Corsa is on my wish list.
Edit - does the Moser Leader require some type of unusual seat post?

I would not mind trying a Moser especially in some of the more unusual tubing (for the US anyway) like Oria that they used.
I wouldn't buy a bike that needed a funky post unless it had on in it or I already had the post located and deal made on it.

I'm a sucker for Moser's paint jobs. That would be my choice.

Smooth and pretty fast (Corsa Extra, or a De Rosa Professional, many of them are nearly identical) vs. not quite as smooth but a bit better power transfer, being somewhat stiffer. My butt can't tell, but the geometry on the Corsa Extra fits my riding style. If I was going to push all the time, every day, I'd do the Moser.

The Moser would be more unique and probably less expensive. Merckxes seem to be a "thing" these days, especially Corsas and Corsa Extras. (BTW, Corsa = Columbus SL and flat top fork crown (some times, anyway); Corsa Extra = SLX and sloping fork crown.)
Both Eddy and Francesco are big boys, so their large frames tend to work better than most. And that's a major plus for me (6'3", 37" inseam).
