Click on one of the boldfaced links, then click the tiny hidden "x" to get rid of the ads, and click to full screen as soon as the ads are gone, there won't be new ads on full screen. The ads include fake "x" that launch pop up ads, just close those windows as soon as they open. It takes some figuring out but after you get the hang of it, these "pirate feeds" work okay. If one feed freezes or doesn't work, try the others.

I didn't follow those links but I use steephill.tv for my on line streaming. It gives you several links and unfortunately, the English language links tend to be buggered, so I usually watch a foreign language and then text live reports from another cycling website.

You can also watch the last 10-20 km everyday on YouTube, usually within an hour or so of the race ending.

My internet really stinks. I get about 15-20 seconds then it stops and then starts again. Really hard to watch/listen like this.

I find, quite often, the local feeds are better. Giro=Italian. TDF=French Vuelta=Spanish. Etc

English speaking commentators aren't always the best, either. Today wasn't bad, though.... Sometimes it's better to listen in another language & watch the on screen stats.

Renshaw peeled off too early so Cavendish had to go to early. Peter Sagan 2nd and Cancelara snuck in there for 3rd and Cavendish gets 4th.

Maybe it's a sign but, in past years Cav seemed strong fr that distance. He didn't jump, right away. Maybe he's still ramping up, maybe he wasn't feeling it, maybe he's past his prime? Yet to be determined...

I know the request was for online viewing, but NBC Sports is carrying it live on cable/satellite. Surprisingly the whole stage today. Quite a mess on the road.

By the time they got to the finish... one rider -- right in front of everyone -- plenty of time to catch him right? But, no one could. Congrats to Joaquim Rodriguez!

For the many hours saved trying to get pirated sites to work I just give nbc sports the $29.99 to be able to just start it up in the evening anytime from any part on the stage I want. it's worth it to me.

Not positive but read somewhere was coined from the six day races, but rather the 'race' would go from town to town. Founder, promoter Desgrange takes credit after conversation with a writer of one the sporting publications.

We're lucky in Canada, it's covered on one of the HD sports channels, along with the other major cycling events.

And for some retro content, I loved the retro-painted Ridleys in last year's Tour. It's an homage to the old Flandria team. Now that's what a bike is supposed to look like!

Actually the correct translation of the French 'tour' in this case is 'round' or 'round trip'.

Having said that, I suppose one could see it as really fast credit card touring.

It started as a marketing ploy to boost summer sales of L'Equip. I've yet to share a residence with someone else who agrees with me, but this is the most riveting sporting event ever.
