Guys, it would be really cool if you found a way to sort out this misunderstanding out of court. This forum is short enough of members who are knowledgeable about older European bikes a it is.

True, but that's where their added value lies anyway. But it's rather academical; I'm not ready yet to give up my ring-side seat here.
