Two Track bikes at the COOP

its been a crazy couple of weeks at the coop, a few days ago we had somebody donate these two beauties..
looks to be a mid 70's gitane, the PO told us what it was http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=467312 and this one is a mid 30's BSA Track bike http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=467313 love the skip tooth and the stem on this one!! |

The BSA crank doesn't (necessarily) mean it's a BSA bike. If the wheels are original (which seems unlikely) then it's not an English bike at all. If the hubs are English and are drilled for 36 spokes, then they were made for export, in which case it could well be an American bike, such as a Drysdale. Or a Paramount.
