Derek Bailey Frames...
10 Attachment(s)
I recently received a message from Geoff Roberts (Brother to Charles Roberts), regarding an unknown frame and fork set.
I have had for some time. Mr. Roberts suggests that the set is likely one of those built by Derek Bailey. I know some of these pictures has been presented a few times but I so want to identify this set. The workmanship is very good, to excellent but I won't build it up until I know what I am building. If anyone here has information or pictures, pertaining to the Derek Bailey frames, could you please chime in and help me out..? http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=472248 http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=472256 http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=472255 http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=472254 http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=472253 http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=472252 http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=472251 http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=472250 http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=472249 http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=472257 |

Beutiful frame! This one deserved a face lift and more time on the road.
I have a Rocky Mountain Derek Bailey frame as well. http://s682.photobucket.com/user/mtr...tml?sort=1&o=0 There is no tubing stickers or model listed on the frame. I bought this years ago from a guy who had closed out a bike shop in CA and he was finally clearing out his last shed of leftovers. The top of the seat cluster was different from any other RM frame I have seen. I've had this frame for years, traded it to my brother, and just got it back from him this week. It is in the shop in hopes of finding a good headset and getting the rear wheel spaced to fit. If anyone recognizes the model please let me know. Thanks! |
what in all of gods universe happened to those poor dropouts ???
nice crisp lugs |
The workmanship on this bike frame set is above average, in my opinion. Sadly, after having it for several years, I still cannot say for sure what it is. I would not mind seeing the frame that Mtrhed is speaking of. So...
Still looking for help to identify this old bike. |
