Saddle rail too narrow for post?

1 Attachment(s)
When I put this saddle on the seat post only one of the inner seat post binders fits. The rails are to narrow to fit on both sides. Is there any fix? I tried to just force it on but the rails don't want to expand. It's a Selle saddle to a SR seat post. Any tips or help would be awesome. I think I attacked a pic.
Thanks

I would first pull the saddle off and check to see if the rails look pushed or off center to the top.

if that does not show any deformation, it could be you have one of the older SR. seat posts that had a larger head that the clamps and bolt goes through. I have one on my Univega and it was a chore to get the saddle on it.

Nevermind. I think I found hulk strength somewhere inside of me and forced the seat on. YAY. thanks threespeedslow
