Non Aero Brake Levers

Does anyone have a source they care to share that has reasonable priced non aero brake levers. No safety levers please. Weinmann, Dia Compe, Modolo (preffered), Universal, SunTour or even Mafac will do.Also, who has colored hoods and cable? Cheap colored cable seems abundant but really high quality housings seem hard to find in anything ohter than black, grey or white. Any help would be appreciated.

E-Bay has lots of them. Some "NOS" Shimano levers from aroun 1980 often turn up.

Take the safety lever off, hacksaw the AL stud off, file flush, then cover with rubber hood.
We do it all the time, works great.

Enjoy

Thanks Alan, I hate to put ShimaNo levers on a Campy equiped bike though. I check out ebay almost daily and sometimes I can score some real deals. The problem is that it isn't consistant.

I just bought brand new set of Shimano 600 non-aero levers with honey colored hoods for $20.00 They were just like the seller said "Brand New" I couldn't find them any cheaper at any of my LBS. Also found "Red" cable at one of my LBS but don't know what you mean by "High Quality" The cabling I have protects my cables just fine and there's no hanging up inside of the cable. You can find what you want on EBAY but you just have to be patient or call alot of LBS.

Grey, of course, usta be the color of quality, as campy only came in that color. The Loose Screws Small Parts (google it) has all colors of good quality cable housing, and usually a lot of other stuff that you can often get cheaper than eBay auctions.

Um, I don't have any vested interest here. I have just always had good luck with 'em...

Baron at Renassaince Cycles usually has a large selection
of Modolo brakes and levers. He is in the process of moving right
now so he might be a bit difficult to contact.
He sells on e-bay as banana_Brain or Renassaince.
