Non-standard Peugeot P8 color? 1985

I acquired a 1985 Peugeot P8 and I didn't think anything of its color until I found out that there were only two standard US colors. One of which was Burgundy(BU) and the other is Pearl White(BK).. My bike is Metallic Silver(AL).. It looks like this.

Might not be a U.S. market bike. Could have been brought in from a different country that got different colors that year. Or Peugeot might have done a color run of those in addition to the catalog colors that year. Catalogs are not gospel.

My father picked one of for me at some thrift store in the Atlanta area. I had a hard time identifying it as well. To the best of my knowledge, and based off the components, it seems to match descriptions for a 1985 model. The Shimano derailleurs helped me in identifying it. Like yours, mine is also silver.

It's in decent shape, enough maybe to play around with modernizing it.
