bike coop name competition.

Ok:

So i am launching the bike coop at my school soon: and there is an open house for my department tonight so I need some flyers and sign up sheets etc.

But I do not have a name for the coop yet.

To help the Coop is part of the Performing Arts and Social Justice program (at least, they are letting us use their shop and putting some $$ in to get it started) so the name should reflect that. The coop is totally free: we do not charge for anything or ask for donation- though we will have various expendable items for sale at cost (tubes etc) - and so far it is only open to the university community.

one of the main purposes is to recycle bikes that are abandoned on campus.. and get them back on the road.

any suggestions for a name?

What school? Might be cool to get it into the name somehow.

Plus, you will want the name to rhyme or be easy to say.

We had one on campus when I was a student called The Bike Hub.

There are a lot of good word plays on cycle and pedal that can be used.

You can also grab icons from the Noun Project that could be useful in your design*:

Examples:

They're CC licensed so you can use them for whatever purpose for free, so long as you attribute the creator of the particular icons.

Good luck.

for your co-op, call it simply, 'the coop,' and pronounce it "coop," as in chicken...

^ you can use that image too.

It's a Jesuit School. That would probably scratch a couple of the previous suggestions.

Would this be limited to the college community, or would others be able to participate?

Jetboy I hope I can visit your coop very soon...I go to High School west of SF. I don't know of a good name. All the Bay Area bike coops have a name that starts with "recycle".
