Hoping to attend astride some sort of triplized bike or other--realistically I've probably got a 50-50 chance of making it down.

Triplized! We're talking Cape Cod. Nearly as flat as Kansas...

The man has to showcase his wares.....
On the other hand, I've built up a 13-21 freewheel just for the Cape.

Hey, I live up in the hills--all my bikes are triplized. I probably won't spend much time on the granny ring, though.

Wait, I do have a winter singlespeed x2. Maybe I'll bring that.

Nah, it's too homely for this crowd.

Exactly! @top506 of course has an entire bike built around Cape Cod riding!

Sorry guys, I don't think I'll make it. Family is visiting that weekend. Leaf peepers from VA no less. I'm really sorry I won't be able to make the ride.

Eh, do both, Bob. Day trip to the cape for everybody to see that in the fall - also pretty. Then you slip away to ride the trail while they go shopping (I'll bet you hate shopping like I do). Back with the family in the afternoon so youse all can regale each other with stories.

This is now in my book. I've missed too many of these.

Well, I must say, that is a plan which might just work. I'll begin playing my cards and see if I can win this hand!

I'm in of course .. just got back from the Cape this a.m. Kind of spooky to have 80 degree weather and not a soul in site at the beach in Wellfleet.

Prowler, will we do the Raleigh Pro's again?

Top, we got a note from Alex that he want to come to the ride too. And of course he'll be on the Shogun.

Ooh, those are pretty bikes!

Why, yes, I am planning to bring that well refined English Gentleman, even though he is a bit down on his uppers, as you know. Like last time, he'll roll a respectful 10 yards behind your proper Gentleman. One should never try to rise above one's station.

Play your aces very carefully, and don't be afraid to deal seconds if you have the dexterity.

Wear your wool jerseys if you got em. After all, it will be cool and rainy. Or is that just the spring CCRT ride?

Still in. Planning to slither onto the Cape Friday morning - probably ride the Shining Sea trail to WH then back to North Falmouth via the coast road. Camp somewhere and meet cha'll at W Dennis Saturday morning. Can't wait.

Oh, Bailey is coming too ('76 Raleigh Professional Mk IV).
