Please help me identify this schwinn

I'm looking for information on this bike. The serial # isF305484. All I know about it is that it was built in 1949.

Welcome to the C&V forum.

Unfortunately we are not magicians or comic book characters with super powers of imaging that which cannot be seen by ordinary humans.

A Schwinn serial number (except mid 1980s-mid 1990s Paramounts) does not identify the model. The best it ever does is provide a year and a month for when it was built. So without pictures no one here can help in your identification quest.

You, however have two, no, make that three choices!

1. Post pictures of your Schwinn that you know/have been told/or believe was made in 1949.

2. Live with the mystery Schwinn, telling friends, family and strangers, it is a unique, one of a kind Schwinn (hoping one day someone will tell you information about your mystery bike when they recognize it.

3. Search the 1949 catalog pages, doing your own homework, reporting back here with the results! :thumb

Link to the 1941-50 catalog pages

The first page of the 1949 Catalog or Schwinn "Comic Book"

Hope this was all helpful!
