Ross Bike With Shimano 3-speed Hub

I just picked up a blue Ross Compact womens bike with a shimano 3 speed hub and cruiser bars. Can anyone tell me any thing about this bike or hub, are either rare? Do they have any value? Should I keep it original or strip it for parts?

Ross, with few exceptions, are not particularly rare or collectible. Doesn't mean they're bad but you won't get much $ for one.

Older Shimano 3 speed hubs (mod# 333?) don't have alot of mojo. Vintage fans want the Sturmey-Archers from England. New Shimano Nexus hubs are supposed to be cool and someday I'll build a "club racer" around one.

If you like it keep it, if you don't donate it. Someone will get many miles from it.
