Identify this weird bike
2 Attachment(s)
I have a strange frame. It's a 56 cm TT bike with a 52 cm seat seat tube. I always find that geometry combo odd but it's not weird. What is weird is it's a Huffy, but a huffy of England, according to the decals. Comes with huret 2x5 downtube drivetrain, and cottered cranks, sporting a very tall gear combo. Even odder is the 26" wheels. Any help identifying where and when this is from?

Those aren't the best snapshots to facilitate identification. A full bike shot would be helpful. How much does it weigh?

Prolly a mid 60's Mark 10.

Woot! I guessed correctly before I opened the attachments. Huffy contracted with Raleigh to manufacturer these bikes for them. I missed out on one of these last year. Nothing great, but they are an interesting bike. Prolly weighs closer to 30 lbs.

Huffy imported couple models from Raleigh, one of them made by Carlton, and also a couple models mage by Moulton in the mid sixties. Judging by your photos, well, I can't add anything to that. Perhaps a photo of the whole bike might be in order?

So I've got a Raleigh.. Were these supposed to have a headbadge? There are holes for one but mine doesn't have one. What tube set does it use, if any?
