Happy thanksgiving

May every forum participant have a wonderfully festive and joyous Holiday weekend with their family and friends!

Hopefully you don't work in retail, although we know top506 will be busy in Maine.

I am thankful for the following:
 • Having a joyous diamond anniversary celebration (60th) for my classic and vintage mom & dad, whom are 83 and 91 respectively, along with 60 friends and family from as far away as China.
 • Improving fitness level, where riding 25-30 miles is a no brainer.
 • Finding motivation to go to the fitness center for a strength workout every other day since early August, even when traveling.
 • Having the 49ers owners releasing Jim Harbaugh to coach at Michigan.
 • Having a safe bike riding season around my neighborhood and Detroit.
 • Enjoying the banter, generosity, friendships, and knowledge with the Bikeforums C&V community.

Best wishes everyone!

I am thankful to have enjoyed good health, having a safe place to live and work on projects, being back here, and for having made several new friends this past year.

I'm thankful for lots of stuff, but one of the biggies is the discovery of this forum so many years ago. I've met some great people and made some great friends as a result :)

Happy Thanksgiving all!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I enjoy the friendly exchange of information on this forum, particularly the C & V subforum. It's nice for a female to be welcome. Thanks.

I had cataract surgeries in Oct-Nov this year, both lenses replaced with brand spank'n new ones which also corrected my vision which has been terrible my entire life. I still wake up each morning reaching for glasses I don't need anymore. Amazing.

That ranks just below my wonderful wife and son for what I am most thankful for

And here I just thought the squinting was just a Clint Eastwood thing you had going on. You definitely have that rugged, outdoorsy, weatherbeaten look that goes along with it. Must be all the cycling. :)

I'm sure I'd be equally thankful if the docs could restore my ravaged hearing with an operation like that. Until then, thankful for another day upright and In the saddle. And my 85-year old mom up and walking around with no cane. She had a stroke in September, but she's on the mend now.

I am thankful for a wonderful family and great friends not to mention this forum and the forumites within (even the grumpy ones).

I went to Thanksgiving potluck with friends tonight. I left with food but came back with more than I left with. How the heck does that happen?

I am thankful for bicycles. All bicycles.

I'm thankful for gravy.

I figure at best the 90 minutes I did on the trainer this morning burned off half of the gravy I had yesterday.
