I will note that USPS has been busy. We were out walking yesterday and saw their delivery trucks a few times. One had its back door up. It looked like everything was from Amazon. Ellen commented, "I think Amazon is keeping them in business." I find it hard to disagree with that sentiment.

Last thing I saw on tracking was an attempted delivery, no safe place to leave package, notice left. That was on the 26th.

You guys aren't kidding, its a serious box of crap. I almost just closed it up and sent it along, but one can always use a black saddle for flips. and I have some shimano 600 parts on a beater bike, im sure it'd appreciate some more 600 love. I'll get it sent out today or tomorrow.

The nice thing about saddle is they take up a goodly amount of room...
Er, why would I know that?

Don't most if not all packages get tracking numbers from the USPS? Given the history of black pot holes the box has fallen into in the past, it may be beneficial to those of us watching to post the tracking number after we ship. We could watch and track the box, and may help ease some nerves.
Just a thought.

All that said, the sender can always help out by tracking and posting here if the package was delivered or not without adding the tracking number to the thread.

No need to add rules. If we stick to the "post when sent" rule, it should arrive within three business days. That's also standard for flat rate boxes.
Personally, when someone sends me their ship-to address, I feel it is common courtesy to reply with the tracking number. But that's just personal preference, not a rule suggestion.
The Dave abides.
