titanium Trek?

I was at the dealer a few months back and I think I remember being told Trek does not make titanium bicycles, at least not on the consumer level....

My question is has Trek ever made a titanium fork, frame or even a complete bike that is sold......obviously not talking about their prototypes and test mules that I would wager they have built- just never sold them......

Thanks,
Joseph

Trek did sell a titanium complete bike under the Lemond brand name.

I know this is outside the parameter of what you were looking for as it was never for sale , but is still a curious footnote in cycling lore

the Great White Hype's time trial bike in 1999 was a Titanium frame (actually it was a Litespeed Blade though with a Trek paint job and decals --- but then again, a lot of pros in that era rode Litespeed with sponsor paint and decals )

Well, there is the occasional Trek steel frame repainted with Krylon brand Titanium paint.

I don't know for sure but think those were Handbuilt by Greg's two builders in the USA. Would that mean the Trek may have been one of those builders?
