I really like the looks of that Le Tour Luxe. The condition and color are great, and the logo lettering seems to be different from every other year. I have an '83 Traveler with the same lettering style, and I'm fond of the looks and ride quality as well.

My winter build #1 just got back from paint. 1981 Trek 750. I just realized how many details I left until now. You know, the old "I thought I had... complete brakes, levers, correct size bottom bracket, ". but I don't yet.

Here is mine:
http://www.bikeforums.net/classic-vi...ller-88-a.html I will update it with some photos once new wheels are built early next week. ;) |
Got my wheels built up last night:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v8...212_192112.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v8...212_192058.jpg 700C, CR18s laced to unbranded Formula hubs with DT Swiss spokes and nipples. The pictured tires are there as placeholders, just so I can store it easily on the rack here at the shop without risking my new rims getting all banged up. |
Half finished with the rolling part of a 650b conversion :)

I have 5 bikes. One is TT bike 3 road bikes and one mountain bike. Only one road bike i have ready to ride but that bike is go be project soon too. because i cant afford buy new wheels now I want put the wheels from the ready to ride bike in other road bike. In one road bike i am between to replace the tiagra groupset with ultegra or put the ultegra in other road bike have downtube shifters. I not have deside yet. I do like the downtube shifters but is hard to change gears in downhil or in higher speeds. I not feel comfortable yet take out my hand from the handlebar to change gears downhill and in higher speeds. My TT bike i think need new bottom bracket general i have many bikes but no money do the bikes the way i want.
