I just got my 1st bike computer ever a month or so ago and haven't even thought about formal logging of miles. But in the year since I retired, I'm been rather consistent at +/- 400 miles a month except January and February which were both about zero and will likely be true this winter. If I really hit 4000 in twelve (ten) months, I'm doing more on two wheels than on four.

I wish I had as many miles as some others here, but such is my schedule - I have to get creative to fit longer rides in. But always glad to be on the bike - especially commuting and not in a car!

Of the rides I tracked in July, I was at 286 miles. Add another 25 for at least one I didn’t track and 30 for commuting and errand running, and I’m at around 340. That puts me at around 2,200 for the year.

I'll need to step it up to have any chance of reaching my 4500 mile goal. I though mileage was supposed to go up in the Summer. Thankfully with a 3 day weekend coming up I should be able to ride all 3 days.
