I like them...
for a specific purpose. I was cleaning my fixed gear last year after a winter of road grime had accumulated, and I didn't like the corrosive crap that was in my brake calipers. With track fork ends on the rear, I couldn't use standard mudguards. So, I replaced the calipers and I sourced a pair of chrome shorties, just to protect the calipers. Alas, I don't have a photo of the bike, but they actually look good. I'm satisfied with them, for what they are. Nothing more.
