I Went for a Ride Today

It wasn't very long, maybe ten miles, maybe a little less. It's early in the year and I'm not conditioned for anything except sitting behind a desk. 6200 feet above sea level takes a little extra effort and it is dry. Even so, it was glorious! It was cool and a little bit breezy, so riding was very comfortable.

I love my old bike. It is the one thing I still have through all the years. It is continuity to me - like an old friend, except they are all gone now. That bike has been with me almost my entire life. As the original owner, I've had it since 1974 when I was in college. We have been through life together.
