Your response to winter is far more eloquent than mine.... it usually goes something like: "*%#*, its snowing again."
BTW, I'm a recovering Mainiac, grew up in Waterville, our oldest is a Bowdoin alum. Cheers

We have an early spring in Minnesota. Its been in the 50s the last few days- actually hit 60 yesterday and will again today. The frost is even out of the ground in some places and likely will be entirely gone by the end of the week as it will continue with the warmth well into next week with no freezing.

70's in the Philadelphia area today so I packed it in at noon and took the Cannondale to the east end of the Chester Valley trail. Shorts and a t-shirt and lots of sun for 30 miles. Lots of folks out enjoying the afternoon too. Wow great day. And I noticed that I'm enjoying that C'dale just as much as when I bought it, about 4 years ago. It just does not get old.

Signs that Spring is here (or very close) in Northern Ohio.
Buzzards are back -- the 'official' date for buzzard return is Mar 15, and until then they are to be referred to as 'extremely large bald headed crows'. Northern Ohio makes a big deal of their return, kind of like the swallows returning to San Juan Capistrano in CA.
Red-wing Blackbirds are back
Spring peepers are 'peeping'
Killdeer are back
Mosquitos are already out!
