chainless eagle
 
i came across this bike it 's called the chainless eagle svb 100 and on the seat it says cionlli if that means anything i was just wondering if anybody could tell me anything about it. anything would be appreciated thanks

chainless bikes were popular at the end of the first big bike boom in the 1890's. Pope was sure that a chainless was gonna be the cats pajamas and revitalize the collapsing industry (it didn't). Chainless has been around in a small way ever since, I think. I remember seeing a chainless paratrooper bike from WWII somewhere. Pictures would really help to bracket this one...

Cionlli, btw, is a large industrial company in southeast Asia (primarily Taiwan, I think). They are alive and breathing well and still have a large saddle division today.
