My Mondonico "Diamond" with SLX at the reservoir. I'm not rich enough to buy a DA groupset for it, but it has an 8 speed 600 tricolor full groupset on it (even the BB.)

EDIT: The bars have since been fixed... less of an angle now. Picture was taken right after I finished building it and I had the bars wrong.

Thank you!
600 Tricolor was some great stuff, and really pretty, too, in my opinion. Looks like you spent the extra money for DA on important things like really nice tires and a nice frame. It's a bit of an embarrassment of riches living in the PNW, and Dura-Ace can and does pop up more often and for non-extortionist prices. I purposefully built up a bike with 600 Tricolor and thoroughly enjoy it. Looks super nice as well, that dark grey.
What angle did you move the bar in? The bars look like Cinellis or similar, and the brifter angles look fine/fine enough to me. If anything, angling the bars down and sliding the brifters up (to end up with the same angle as started) would set the look straight. Old bars and brifters are always a tricky thing. Beautiful bike regardless!

I bought the bike for $180. (It was in much worse shape than it is now.) The tires came with it (and are now trash... after that ride they had huge bubbles in the sidewall.) I did rebuild the wheels with H Plus Son Tb-14s and 600 hubs.
I'd LOVE to put some 7400 or 7700 DA on it, as that stuff is magical on my landshark, but the 600 is OK. I miss the short throw of the shifters on the DA though. (Other than that, the difference is negligible.) (The shifter throw on the 7400 is probably 1/3rd to 1/4th the 6400. Now, I got mine refurbished, so I'm not sure if that's normal but, I still miss it.)
And yes, you are correct for the bars. They are Cinellis, and I did exactly what you said, rotated the bars down while moving the brifters up. The problem was that the drops had SUCH an angle to them I felt like I was falling out of them.
I am going to spend some good money and put some nice tires on it. Maybe not the lightest weight racing tires, but definitely a good all around tire. Maybe GP 4000 IIs or Duranos or something nice from Vittoria. Unsure if I want to keep the gumwalls on this bike or not. The rims are SO wide I'm debating if I even NEED a 25c tire on it... It makes the 25s that are on it look like 28s.

Oh yeah, I don't ride there. I just shoot photography and hike alone. A lot of times once you get a mile or two off the road you hardly see anyone. It is so crowded now compared to the 90s.

As the proud owner of two MAX Bianchi Protos and a MAX OR Bianchi Boarala as well I would like to point out that this is rather discriminatory in excluding them. However since we all know that MAX is far superior to your humble incoherent jumbled letter tube sets I'll let it slide.
BTW you forgot SBX too but then again like Tenax that was made a single company.
FYI you do know MAX is actually lighter than SLX. SPX and even the vaunted SL tube sets?

No tubing decals, but I exchanged emails with Stan and he gave the frame details to me.

Im running a 10v Record Triple drivetrain, using bar end shifters converted to down tube.
I’m still running a Campy Nuovo Record BB. It is asymmetrical 111mm. I read that 10v Record Triple cranks also use the same spec BB, so that set this project in motion.
i bought the frame around 1999 for $165 and it has been my mainstay bike ever since. The yellow Mavic sticker is hiding a nasty dent that has not impaired ride quality or my enjoyment of the bike one bit.

Just got back from a saddle-test ride.
SLX tubing, 10S Record-ish (Chorus cranks, Tektro Centaur brakes) Chorus hubset Reflex rims, 30mm tubulars.
Saddle is a Morgaw Trian with some nifty features but I don't think it will be replacing my Ariones/Antares.

Here's mine: AFAIK (and confirmed by Julie @ Marinoni with the original spec sheet), the only TSX Marinoni Special ever made. It was originally built as a one-off display model for the 1991 Anaheim Bike Show, full DA and Gipiemme. It came into my possession in pretty rough shape, so I salvaged what I could, rebuilt what I could, and had the frame restored by Omar at Oasis Custom Cycles in Phoenix AZ. It's a favorite for spirited, longer-distance rides when I want to feel fancy:
