Whoa, Robbie! Are you doing the frame building yourself?

Looks nice! What are the details, can you spill yet ?

Thanks, Law, but I'm just not ready yet. I may be setting myself up for a fail on this one. Taking it very slow, but no, I am not doing the frame building myself. It's 29 years old. I still have some decisions to make, and I'm not completely sure of the "vision thing," yet. It could be sub-average, or really nice. At this point, nothing supports either/or.

Just something about chrome Paramounts that is pleasing to the eye. A high school friend had one and it was gorgeous. He says he should never have traded it.

Full Chrome bikes DOMINATE!!!

My "someday" bike is a custom built, full chrome plated bike-

My only chrome bike right now is my Black Chrome Schwinn High Sierra.

I plan on having some pix of it, all redone, sometime in the next month or two...

I'm not completely done with the Ross here but I'm close. I have two of these frames, with the second barely started. It's a Ross '84 Mt. Whitney (Chrome, Double-Butted Ishiwata Tubing), this example equipped with Mafac Tandem Cantilevers, Wright W3N Saddle, Nitto Stem, Tange Levin NJS 1" Headset, SunTour BarCons, Shimano Deore Long-Cage Gearing, Tourney Triple-Crank, SunTour Pedals, Schwalbe Big Apples, etc.

All but done with the De Rosa. Using the Nuovo Tipo laced wheels that came off the Raleigh frankenbike I picked up since I made that SS. I removed faded anno and fine polished the ITM stem and bars. Bmx stlye clear cable, benotto tape and red straps to supplement the old school Modolo Professionals. A couple smaller cheap parts are still not on, anodized red bolts for the bottle cage and valve caps. Tires are shot, but got in a short shakedown this afternoon before going flat as tire was starting to spilt. Was going to change them before posting, but I only have black tubulars on hand and want tan walls so decided to hold off.

Thanks to @jiangshi for the saddle and SR braze on FD. I only had a chorus so the SR is a better fit. He also went over bike and could not find anything to show this is not original, either way the job was well done and I am sure not cheap if it was.

A couple pics from my standard backdrop :-)

I considered, but like the cleaner look and not having cable where my hands reach. I'm just different like that. Lol!
