Galmozzi

Vintage Collection OF Bicycle Frame Head Badges Galmozzi | eBay

I wonder what it would cost if there was a Bike connected to it? I opted out at $115. I hope the eventual Buyer has a Bike to mount it on, Would be a shame to just have it sitting in a display case.

The price is up to $300 for one head badge. I wonder what the C&V valuation forum would have pegged as the value for the head badge . . .

I don't know. But there is lots of time left in the Auction. Any guesses on the final Tally?

I think this is way overpriced as we speak. I'm skeptical that it will go much higher but then I would not have guessed that it would hit $300.

It's not even in what I would call "Collector condition". I say it will hit over $400.

He has some really cool items. The bells are amazing, but I don't have the matching bike for a single one of them.

I just can't believe the bidding price!! Gotta be some back story on that one.

repechage 04-09-16 09:03 PM

Hopefully all the bidders understand that it is for ONLY the Galmozzi badge, as a set the current price level can be rationalized. For just the one... Thank goodness I don't own a Rooster frame.

wow the title is terrible! He's totally giving the impression that it's for a lot.

Buy the bell, find the bike for it!

Simple!

10 cool bells, I decided to bid individually for all of them last night, found out I got 3 of them this morning. eBay was acting up, I could grab a full sized pic URL for one of them, another I found on google image search, but the third was elusive. Meh, I'll post a pic of all three when they come in.

I guess nobody here has had a rare frame missing the badge before. Original 60's Cinelli badges go for around three hundred all the time. I would think a loose Galmozzi one would be harder to find. The repros go for close to a hundred and look terrible. I would have paid three hundred + for this one when I needed it.

repechage 04-10-16 07:37 PM

Yes, fortunately no need, if one required one... Ouch.
