Haral - Any Other Owners out There?

Picked up this Haral made with Excell tubing - it is a very light steel frame. Has some nice touches like the reinforced shifter braze-ons and the front derailleur braze-on - am sure this has been done because of the thin walled tubing. Also has the "pearls" on the head tube. Just wondering if there are any other Haral owners out there as I would like to see their bikes!

Got to see one of their "funny bikes" in person about thirty years ago. It was constructed of curved tubes.

Never heard of Haral but that's an awesome frame you've got there. Stunning.

Yes I have seen a few photos on the web showing the "funny bikes" but not many of the "normal" frames :-) I know they were in Chambery (Haute Savoie) in France and that there were two brother who built the frames but that is pretty much all I know. Apparently the Excell tubing is very stiff.

Thanks very much for sharing this fascinating find Sante!

Have you as yet mapped out a build plan in your mind?

Will look forward to following any updates you make.

The "funny bike" I had the opportunity to view was one of their TT models - crazy short WB.

That is a really beautiful bike! 531 Professional tubing and some very nice parts. Thank goodness it is way too small for me!
