Cannondale Serial # info

I'm sure there is probably a thread on this already, but I have been trying to find out the year my cannondale SR40 was built. I know it was guilt between 86 and 92, based on the location of the serial number. I went to the cannondale vintage site, but I can't figure out what the numbers mean. The don't seem to follow the info as described. It may be me, though, lol. the # is 66004917271. I was thinking the 91 meant it's a '91 model, but I am not at all certain. Can't figure out what the others represent either. Any help would be appreciated.
