Yes, it looks to be a B-level version of the Gran Sports. It appears to be of similar quality and construction in most aspects, except most notably for the cage. BTW - I suspect that the cage isn't black anodized, but pressed steel or brass with a black oxidized finish.

It's also possible that the cage is longer and has more take up capacity, but you'd have to measure and compare.

Are they steel or aluminum?

You can check easily enough with a magnet.

I sold my "Turismo" on ebay not too long ago. It was the only one I've ever seen before and the guy who bought thought the same also. He just bought it because he never saw one either and thought it was pretty interesting.

I described the cages as having a black oxide finish and you bristled, saying they were anodized. Not that it matters either way, but for your future reference, steel cannot be anodized. Steel can be plated, or be treated chemically a number of ways including black oxide. The shininess isn't relevant, you are just seeing the surface condition of the base metal before treatment or plating.

Years ago I used to produce steel freewheel removers which we finished in black-ox. Prior to the black treatment we used to burnish the metal to a high shine, and the finished tools ended up with a very rich black luster that looked like obsidian glass.

Try here. There's PDFs of 3 catalogs from 1953, 55, and 57, so there's a good chance you'll find something. If not, go later and look at the early sixties.

using the black parts to make a new derailleur is like when they took the nuovo record and added black parts to it to make the super record fronts
but the turismo rear is a stamped part and campy should have included it in a catalog somewhere

Will look forward to following this discussion. Have had two or three Turismo rears snoozing in a parts drawer for over thirty years. Have wondered about them without ever finding any information.

Cage plates are stamped steel sheet finished in black paint.

wrt the catalogues -

There seem to be a few Campagnolo products which never made their way into a catalogue.

Started a thread here regarding a shift lever set I have never found in a catalogue -
