Help ID an early 90s Campy group
I am completely out of my element when it comes to Campy and have no idea what group this is.
Its on a red Cannondale 2.8 road bike that is full Campy. Internet research has led me to think its Veloce?
Its 8 speed.
Are there any identifying traits that would allow a simple mope to figure out the component group?...or do you just have to somehoe inherently know?

The painted finish on the cranks and brakes points to Veloce or Mirage (there are a couple of others - Avanti and Stratos, also)
THe brifters on veloce have separate up and down levers like the upper end groups, --- the others have a single L shaped lever that performs both up and down functions
Good stuff either way,

Thanks. Forgot this pic. Does it help narrow the possibilities?

The various components look like Veloce, Velobase doesn't seem to have the Veloce crankset though.
These look to be your brake calipers:VeloBase.com - Component: Campagnolo BR-02VL, Veloce
The FD looks more like an Athena: VeloBase.com - Component: Campagnolo Athena
The RD is throwing me though, that cage looks wrong for a Veloce. We need Chas or T-mar to look at this thread.

It's circa 1993 Campagnolo Veloce.

Wow. Yet again, impressed with the collective knowledge.
So is there a way to identify what level Campy components are? ie- stamped on the components Shimano 5800, 6800, M700, etc?
