AIM bicycles? Anyone have any history on these?

I found an old AIM 10 speed. I searched for the history of this manufacturer and didn't come up with anything. The downtube decal said Made in Taiwan. I then found another AIM on ebay and it's head badge said Made in West Germany. Odd that a weird off brand bike nobody has seemed to have heard of has two separate manufacturing locations. Anyone heard of this brand. I contacted the ebay seller and he had no idea of the history of it. Here are pics of both bikes decals.

Thanks for any help in advance.

Looks like they were in Germany in the 60s and outsourced or sold for cheap production in the 70s. Decals are very similar. Just my guess.

thanks for the info...I was wondering if anyone might know about any long gone department stores, etc. Sort of why I posted up the message.
