Shimano 600 Self-Extracting Crank Bolts?
So how do I remove it? And when I do, will I have 22x1mm extractor threads to work with?
I've got a 600 Arabesque crankset, but only the drive side has the S-E bolt.
TIA for your input.

Are you wanting to replace that SE? If you're wanting to remove the crank then just unscrew the crank bolt with a 6mm Allen key like normal but you may need to put an extension onto the Allen key to get enough pressure to get the crank off.
Cheers

Still learning
metric allen sockets are better than keys for the heavy duty bolts.

The design is a copy of something introduced by Magistroni ~1965.
Seen on the Super Zenith model chainset.

Generically Self extracting bolts have a Ring that screws into some of the Extractor thread
the Bolt has a flange that when backed out pushes on the underside of the ring,
Sometimes The crank is stuck on the BB spindle so tightly all you do is strip out the crankarm
as the extractor ring is pushed out but the crankarm does not Budge.
then <cautionary warning> remove the extractor ring , and then the Bolt , then use a Conventional Crank arm extractor.
