Back on the hunt for an early 80's Schwinn Voyageur 11.8 frame. Seeing if anyone here has one they would let go. For some reason, black
Is the colour I want for this model.

Anyone have an orphan, left side for triple Shimano STI brifter 7 / 8 speed? Marred up is completely acceptable.

Please let me know what you need in trade or other.

This is for my beater '92 Stumpjumper road drop conversion. Most everything on it is already mismatched, parts from junk, BOC here off the forum. Serious mismatched as in everything.... three different makers for just the seat post alone. Same goes whatever the headset is plus mystery threads, because the chrome fork was just as mysterious. LOL

I've been getting by with an RX100 double that I rebuilt and only run with the two larger chainrings, but now want to play in the dirt and aggressive climbs.

ISO Milremo Competizione toe straps

I have 3 straps - red new, blue used and yellow used. I am looking for any or all of these colours to complete pairs.

I have lots of things to trade.

Thanks.

Brad

Hi Zammykoo. Did you ever get any luck with this? I need one too...

Unfortunately no. I've looked at a couple of big box hardware stores and also a local one with no luck. This nut is just a really uncommon type. I think the best bet is to find a matching donor derailleur to use its parts.

I might get creative and make one if I get that desperate. I thought about cutting the head off of a spare socket cap screw and tapping threads into it.

I had the same idea, but not sure that my taps would do the thick. What is it, something like M5/ M6? The "lead in" section of my tap (there must be a proper technical term) may not clear the hex socket.

If yours is too mangled to measure, I may have a complete one that I can get the gauges on. Let me know if this would be useful to you.

The thread is M5-.80 and the nut body must be around 8mm in diameter to fit into the slot. It also takes a 4mm allen key.

If only they used M6 allen nuts... I have some of those laying around.

Milremo Competizione straps

Thanks for the heads up @smontanaro but I’d like to match what I have. Slim chance but I’ll try.

Cheers.

*Rack is gone*

Also looking for:

-White Benotto handlebar tape, enough for one bike.

-Big randonneur-style handlebar bag, I ride 25" frames, so I need something around 10" tall. Berthoud GB28, Acorn Tall Rando, Swift Ozette, or something vintage. I like the leather/canvas look a lot. I have a Velo-Orange rando bag in okay condition that I might want to offer up.

-Long setback 26.2mm seatpost, silver/polished silver.

It wouldn't be ideal (or as aesthetically pleasing), but what about using an M5-0.8 acorn nut and slotting the top for a flathead screwdriver?

Looking for a 125.5mm Stronglight spindle to make my 49d a triple (which I assume will work...).

I have a 118mm spindle to trade, and various other things if you don't need to specifically swap spindles.

Thanks!

I think you'll want a 125.5 axle:

Oh, thanks for that! It looks like I might be able to get away with a 121mm JIS spindle as a fallback, then, if this trade does not pan out.

I had the same thought as a quick and dirty solution but have been holding out on that one. I'm not really a huge fan of flathead bolts. The hex sides of the nut would also have to be rounded out in order to fit into the slot too. Not sure how I could do that clean enough.

ISO Shimano 9 speed road cassette with short range. I have a CS-M750 to trade. I believe this came from a Shimano Deore XT groupset. Cogs are 11t-34t. Used but in good shape.

Also have other random stuff for trade, just ask.

I have the Kelly take-offs. Good shape, just did not work for me. I’ll send you a pair free. I’m out of town at the moment but back next Tuesday, and I will dig them up for you.

I think I have a 12-27 Ultegra 9-speed cassette that's in pretty good condition. Is that within the range of what you want?
